Winter Folk Camp

Do you have a music lover who is really hard to buy for? How about treating him or her to a one of a kind experience -- The Winter Folk Camp in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands! We are offering either private cottage accommodation packaged with this camp for $734 for two people. This includes two nights accommodation in a private cottage with a fireplace (including the wood) and the registration at the folk camp which includes 2 lunches and 1 dinner, snack breaks, 3 days of programming, access to recreation facilities and equipment, and complimentary daily yoga sessions. What a great experience for the music loving couple. If you are prepared to have a private bedroom but, share a cottage with another couple the price drops to $612 OR if you share with 2 other couples $572. Stress Reliever

Come and be nurtured by our good nature! The package starts with 2 nights accommodation in a private cottage complete with fireplace and all the wood you can burn. You have unlimited use of the silent watercraft (canoes, kayaks, paddleboat and row boat) and will receive information about trail and tour opportunites that you can experience on a self-guided basis. Midweek 146 pp Weekend 172 pp.

Romantic Weekend Getaway for 2

ROMANCE IS...THE HALIBURTON HIGHLANDS! What could be more romantic than spending time in a private, natural retreat with that special someone, enjoying the ambience set by the crackling of the wood burning fireplace. You decide whether it be flowers, wine, a couple’s massage at the neighbouring Day Spa or an outdoor adventure. Or perhaps you’d like to treat each other to a relaxing massage in the privacy of your cottage using the specially selected spa products and instructional material provided. Packages start at $146 pp for a two night stay.

Fall in Love with Winter

Fall in Love with Winter with two nights' accommodation in a private cottage with woodburning fireplace (wood included in price). Bring your own ice skates and take advantage of the night-lit rink on the lake! Cross country ski package includes one day rental and ski pass. Substitute the dogsledding 2 hour tour for an upcharge of $70 per person. Prices begin at $166 CAD pp double occupancy for midweek and $194 pp double occupancy weekend.

Minden White Water Preserve Bicycle Tour

We've mapped out a 40 km bicycle tour (you can easily add more distance if that's not enough) through the Blairhampton Triangle .. yes, it's Haliburton's answer to the Bermuda Triangle but, with our map you will find your way out! The trip takes you past a glass artisan studio and a pottery studio. With a little extra distance and some preplanning you can also see a Raku Pottery artist at work. The destination of the trip is the Minden White Water Preserve where you are quite likely to see kayakers shooting the rapids in the multi-coloured kayaks .. a beautiful and intriguing site! This is a great place for a picnic lunch OR if you are up to another 7 km you can arrange to have lunch at a local restaurant. Package includes 2 nights accommodation in a cottage complete with a fireplace (wood also included), and the bicycle tour pamphlet. Relax in the hot tub or sauna or have a game of billiards after your long day on the road. All this for $126 per person based on double occupancy mid-week in fall.
